Sheba’s International Gala

The African Friends of Sheba organized a Virtual International Gala, a live event broadcast from Sheba Medical Center. This special occasion was in honor of the healthcare heroes and supporters of the medical center, featuring a range of celebrities, dignitaries, and world-renowned medical experts.
The event was emceed by Shira Haas, an Emmy-nominated actress known for her role in Netflix’s “Unorthodox.” A key figure at the event was Professor Yitzhak Kreiss, the Director General of Sheba Medical Center. The gala’s primary focus was on the ongoing efforts to find a cure for COVID-19.
It highlighted the heroic stories of patients affected by the virus and the dedication of the medical teams that treated them, showcasing the resilience and solidarity in the face of a global pandemic.
